Rodrigues Tile Company was the vision of Peter Rodrigues, or 'Grandpa'. In 1972 he began the company. His son, Ken, was 11 years old when he would often accompany his dad on jobs – during summer months and school breaks. In 1979 Ken began his ‘official’ apprenticeship with the tile trade. In January 1984 Pete and his wife Arlene left for China as missionaries. Ken was trained and ready by that point to take over the leadership of Rodrigues Tile. All 6 of Ken’s children have worked at various times on various projects with him. In 2019 Nick, the eldest, began Rodrigues Tile Redding and has been steadily upgrading homes in the NorthState. We are proud to offer three generations and almost 50 years of tile experience.
